After two years

9/12/2012

Two years of being a vegan; two years of enjoying plant based whole foods whilst eliminating meat and milk.

Where am I at?

I take no medication.  My weight has stabilised at 20 kg less.  My health, strength and energy levels are all well ahead.  Confidence, supported by ample scientific evidence, in my future health and wellbeing are absurdly high.

I no longer make any apologies for my way of life and I find that my detractors are fewer in number and less formidable in their reproach.

My extended family and many other friends and acquaintances have become either committed vegans or have moved strongly towards this position.

I see growing numbers of fellow aged people being struck down by diseases which are generally accepted as “old age conditions”, but which I regard as easily avoided and often reversed by simply living a plant based whole food life style.

It is difficult, in this profit motivated world, to see how damaging meat and dairy is to our health.  However the simple procedure of eliminating these foods from the diet is now a fully proven solution to the rampant epidemics of obesity, diabetes, Alzheimer’s, cancers, arthritis, heart and vascular diseases.

The medical and pharmaceutical industries are patently failing to halt or even slow down this worldwide epidemic; they may be seen to alleviate many symptoms, but the growing rates of diagnosis and treatments indicates that the root causes are not being addressed.

So I will continue to enjoy the good health and rude confidence in my lifestyle and will persist in spreading the good news of living a long and pill free vegan life.

  • Instead of wearing pink, we should be eating green.
  • Instead of seeing a red heart, we should be seeing green vegetables.
  • Instead of selling daffodils, we should be selling vegetables.
  • Instead of waiting to be struck down, we should be going vegan now.

Having joined the fast growing group of people who recognise the value of living on plant based whole food, I now want to share my experiences and views with as many others as possible.
