Protein and Calcium

The prime sources of our bodies’ energy needs are proteins and carbohydrates.  We need between 5 and 10 percent of our energy intake to be in the form of proteins.  Any more or less than this range is dangerous.  Too little and we fall to pieces; any more than 10% and we are instantly creating the platform for the ultimate onset of heart disease, cancer, diabetes, obesity, aggression and depression, to mention a few.

A plant based diet supplies up to, but no more than, 12% protein content.  The minute we include animal protein into this diet we inevitably lift our protein intake to above the 10% danger threshold.

There is more and higher quality calcium in a cup of cooked cabbage than there is in a cup of cow’s milk.  The calcium and iron available in plants is more balanced and beneficial to you, than that provided by animal products. 

The myth that these two food components can only be secured from animals is promoted by corporations, including meat and milk companies, to enhance sales of an unnecessary, carcinogenic and poisoning product.

Of course the pharmaceutical corporates love the promotion, as they comfortably follow up the protein induced diseases by offering their expensive panaceas. 
  • By changing to a plant based whole food diet we will live longer, more peacefully in a pill free environment.
  • No one has ever seen an abundantly fed herbivore suffering from either a protein or calcium deficiency. 
  • You can get strong enough to lift a man plus log, without ever eating an ounce of supplementary protein or calcium.
