Falafel
This is a great recipe for oil-less and whole food Falafel
In a blender, or mortar and pestle grind and put aside
In a blender, or mortar and pestle grind and put aside
- ½ cup dry chick peas
- 2 cups of cooked chickpeas, rinsed and drained.
- 2 cups broad beans, defrosted and skins removed (use peas, runner beans etc as an alternative, or part of the mix).
- 1 cup of mint leaves, chopped
- ½ cup coriander leaves, chopped
- 4 – 6 cloves garlic
- Zest and juice of one lemon
- 2 teaspoons baking powder
- 1 tsp salt
- 1 tbsp. Aromatic mix
- The aforementioned chick pea flour
- Sesame seeds
